Student Billing – Payment Options

When is my bill due?

  • Fall semester tuition payment due: August 1
  • Spring semester tuition payment due: January 2

If payment is being made with the assistance of Financial Aid, all documents must be submitted to the Financial Aid Office as soon as possible and aid should be secured by the tuition due date to avoid Business Office holds and late fees.

What are my tuition payment options?

Whether you pay your balance in full or enroll in a payment plan, the payment options are the same:

  1. Online: A student may pay online through his/her RavenZone account, and Authorized Users may pay online through the Authorized User link (provided separately from the student’s RavenZone link) which goes directly to TouchNet, the college’s partner for secure, online payment options.
    1. Pay directly from any personal checking account (e-check) with no additional charges by using this e-check option. Simply enter the bank/financial institution routing and account number information at the time of payment.
    2. Pay using a credit or debit card. A service fee will be added to the credit/debit card payment transaction. You will be informed of all fees before you authorize the payment. The service fee is non-refundable once the payment transaction is completed. The service fee is charged by the card processor, and all service fees collected on credit/debit card transactions are paid directly to the card processor. Benedictine College does not receive any revenue from the service fee. Note that debit cards will be processed as a credit card transaction and will incur the service fee. To avoid the service fee, you can make online payments from any personal checking account (e-check).
  2. By mail: Mail a check to the address below. Please note the student’s name and ID number on the memo line.

    Benedictine College
    ATTN: Business Office
    1020 N 2nd Street
    Atchison, KS 66002
  3. In person: Only payments by cash or check are accepted at the Business Office located in St. Benedict Hall on the third floor. The cashiering window is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Credit or debit cards are only accepted online through TouchNet.
  4. Sign up for a payment plan through your student account in RavenZone, by selecting “View and Pay My Account,” then selecting the “Payment Plans” option from the menu. The link will direct you to a third party vendor, TouchNet, where you sign up for a semester payment plan, and then elect a four month or five month, interest-free payment plan. The application fee is $55 per account, per semester, and sign up is easy, just taking a few minutes. See the payment plan Terms and Conditions contained on the Benedictine/TouchNet webpage. Note that installment payments made with a credit/debit card also incur the service fee. Read Credit/Debit Card Policy for more information, found on the Student Billing web page.

Can I use any type of check for an electronic check payment?

No. Only checks from a regular checking or savings account are accepted. Checks issued from credit card companies, money market accounts, home equity or other lines of credit cannot be processed as electronic check payment. These checks, however, can be mailed or paid in person to the College. Please include the student ID on the memo line of the check.
