Master of Arts in Teaching
Program Overview
The Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) degree program at Benedictine College is designed for candidates with an undergraduate degree outside of the field of Education who are seeking to become licensed teachers. The elementary track leads to eligibility for a Kansas teaching license in grades PreK-6. Secondary candidates with degrees in the following disciplines qualify for admission to the MAT.: Art, Biology, Chemistry, English, French, Math, Music, Physics, P.E./Health, Social Science, and Spanish.
